The web is now an integral part of any business, so it makes sense that a greater number of architectural practices are choosing to advertise and engage through websites and social media. The NSW Architects Registration Board (ARB) administers the Architects Act 2003. At the heart of this Act is a set of ethics, standards and expectations for anyone providing architectural services in NSW. You can find a summary of the Act here.

SEPP 65 is the only area of practice in NSW that is restricted to architects. The SEPP aims to improve the design quality of residential apartment development in New South Wales.  It recognises that the design quality of residential apartment development is of particular importance and public interest due to the economic, environmental, cultural and social benefits of high quality design.

The Board's latest project entitled "Transition to Registration" is now published on this corporate website.  This resource is designed to assist graduates, both recent and those who may have been working in architecture for some time, to make the transition to registration.
