2024 notice of ballot


More than 2 nominations have been received for the 2024 election of 2 architects to the NSW Architects Registration Board.

The Australian Election Company will conduct a ballot via electronic voting in October to determine the election of 2 architects to the Board.

The Australian Election Company will email eligible architects on Friday, 4 October 2024 just prior to the ballot opening. Please keep an eye out for this email from the AEC -it will not be sent by the NSW ARB.

The AEC email will include voting instructions and the candidate information sheet. All architects (both practising and non-practising) who were on the NSW Register of Architects as of the date of the close of nominations on 19 August 2024 are eligible to vote.

The ballot will be:

  • Open from Friday 4 October 2024 for 28 days 
  • Close at 5pm on Friday, 1 November 2024.

The Board is pleased to announce the launch of its Short Form Architect Client Contract 2019. The SFACC can be downloaded from the Board’s website and is a free online resource to assist architects to meet their obligations under the NSW Architects Code of Professional Conduct 2017.
