Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarships 2015

The Board is pleased to announce that the 2015 Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarships are back, and now open for applications.

The purpose of the Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarships is to enable recipients to undertake a course of study, research, or other activity approved by the Board which allows: “the promotion and encouragement of education of students of and/or graduates in architecture”. The Scholarship program must involve travel which may be overseas or within Australia.

Since they were first awarded in 1951, more than 160 architects, graduates and students have had the chance to travel in Australia or around the world to experience architecture, design and the built environment first hand. Over $3m has been awarded as a result of Byera's legacy since the first scholaship in 1951. The Scholarships allow that rare chance for reflection and personal development - shared through the Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship reports; talks, exhibitions and presentations.

You can read more about Byera by downloading the Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarships Application Form that now includes an easier on screen application form.

Applications close COB 31 July 2015.
