Annual renewal of registration - payment due by 30 June 2013 and CPD requirements

At annual renewal of registration last year (31 March 2012), architects in NSW were advised that, due to the decision in the Statutory Report of the Review of the Architects Act, the date for annual renewal of registration would be moved to 30 June in each year commencing in 2013. The review of the Act has been postponed until after the review of the licensing regime in NSW due to report in June 2013.

We encourage all architects to use our secure on-line payment system available on our website from 15 March 2013.  Architects who pay on-line will not incur the 0.4% + GST credit card merchant fees payable by architects who pay via mail or over the counter.  The annual registration fee payable using Mastercard or Visa is $220 (GST exempt) if paid online and $220.97 if paid in person or by mail/email via a credit card authorisation.

Architects will receive email reminders about annual renewal of registration. Annual renewal forms will be mailed only to architects who do not have an email address listed with the Board.

CPD activities totalling 20 hours must be declared at the time of renewal or prior to 30 June 2013.
