NSW ARB Summer Fellows (Architecture) at the State Library of NSW
Applications are now open for Summer Fellows (Architecture), a research opportunity delivered in partnership with the State Library of New South Wales for NSW registered architects and architecture students.
This program invites participants to spend a summer engaging with the Library’s extensive resources and unique architecture collections, ranging from private practice archives and hand-drawn plans to photographs, elevations and documentation of buildings across NSW.
Through a three-month residency at the Library, Fellows will develop a self-directed project exploring the public, cultural or social dimensions of architecture. This may take the form of historical investigation, design research, curation, writing or other creative formats.
Each Fellow will receive a $1,000 grant, along with access to a dedicated workspace, Library staff support and a professional development program.
More information on the application process is available via the SLNSW website.
Applications close Friday 10 July 2026.
