This report explores the value and agency offered by the architectural profession (broadly conceived to include those invovled in the cultural production of architecture) to the wider public. The study uses 26 case studies and 12 interviews to explore this issue, and proposes five high level strategies to promote these relationships: improve mainstream reporting of architecture; expanding the conversation to other cultural institutions; invest in temporal events and activities; individual empowerment and engagement, and; internal professional dialogue.
