This report focuses on Lithuania’s architecture by placing it in the context of the country’s violent past and its rebirth post Soviet occupation.

The author visited Lithuanaia in 2000 and reposts on first hand experience of key Lituanain architectural projects including the baroque Vilnius’ Cathedral, The University Of Vilnius, traditional Lithuanian villages and from the 1990s Vilnius’ International Airport and the recent King Mindaugas’ Bridge.
