The NSW Architects Registration Board comprises 11 members – two of which are architects elected by architects. A notice seeking nominations to fill these two positions was posted on 10 September 2018. Between 10 September and 2 October, 11 nominations were received. A change in the Architects Regulation in 2017 allows the Board to conduct the election process online through a secure electronic voting site.
- Ballot opens: 9am, Friday 26 October 2018
- Ballot closes: 5pm, Monday 19 November 2018
- At 8.30am on 26 October 2018, all architects will receive an email containing information about how to access the voting site and submit their ballot securely. Architects will only be able to access the voting site by following the link and instructions in this email.
- Architects will be able to vote once, at any time between 9am on 26 October and 5pm on 19 November 2018.
The elected architects begin their two-year term on 20 December 2018 and will attend their first Board meeting in February 2019.
