TALKS IN THE CRYPT – free lunch time talks presented by former Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship (BHTS) recipients about their projects. Topics will be of interest to the public, architects (1 hour informal CPD), students, graduates and potential BHTS applicants.

James Gardiner (2004 graduate winner)
Topic: “Exploring the Future of Prefab; Global research of prefabrication in construction, aerospace, shipbuilding and automotive industries” James, now a registered architect, has commenced a PhD at RMIT, where he will further his research on this topic.

Tse- Hui Teh: (2004 architect winner)
Topic: Urban Design: Envisioning Gateway. Hui, is a Fulbright Scholar who undertook a Masters in Urban Design at Columbia University. As part of her final project Hui co-wrote a report entitled “Envisioning Gateway” – a research into the design and development of the Gateway National Recreational Area in New York USA where she also acted as the project manager, research fellow and designer.

Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarships
Applications for the 2007 BHTS for Students, Recent Graduates and Registered Architects close on Friday, 31 August. 2007. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in mid-September and winners will be announced at the Board's Annual Award Ceremony in November.
