Glenn Murcutt - Architecture for place

11-06-2009

Glenn Murcutt's groundbreaking designs are internationally recognised as being at the forefront of contemporary architecture. His work is celebrated for its sustainability and harmony with the natural world, and resonance and unity with Australia's diverse climate and topography.

This special exhibition reveals the way Murcutt crafts his projects, with a selection of ideas presented from initial sketch to detailed construction drawings and final built work. A series of stunning photographs by Anthony Browell completes the show.

Presented by the Architecture Foundation Australia, in association with the Historic Houses Trust and the NSW Architects Registration Board and courtesy of Toto Gallery MA Tokyo.

Exhibition open 13 June - 5 October 2009.
